Went there for a work dinner and wow! will be back! Great Italian food and amazing server. knowledgeable and friendly. Started off with the bruschetta, calamari and shrimp. All were tasty even though I'm not a big sea food guy. Had pasta and it was remarkable and had a slice from a friend and it was divine!

We were delighted to find this place! Our server Keirstin was warm, attentive and holy bajezus did she have to hustle after the dinner hour hit! We arrived for a 5pm reservation and by 5:45 the place (on a Friday eve) was packed. She didn't miss a beat-right down to magically making a room-temperature-just-arrived Peroni 0 into a chilled glass next to my pasta dish when it arrived. I always have so many curiosities about a restaurant (what was it before, who designed it, how long has it been here) and even though she was hustling, she offered all the answers before I had to ask. This was the REAL deal, we left after EACH having a dessert (pistachio cheesecake was nomlicioius) feeling utterly satiated and as complete as two humans could be.

My mom and I stumbled upon Scarpetta during our trip to Calgary, and we loved it so much we came back twice. Not only was the staff amazing and so welcoming, but the food is to die for. Especially the Gnocchi. I highly recommend checking it out.

Amazing quality and authentic dishes. The service is attentive but the food is simply fantastic. I have dined in Rome, Cinqueterre and Naples. The gnocchi and Calabrese were on par with the real deal in Italy. Will be back for sure.
